Following customer demand for cycle time check and data record link to industry v4.0, GR Engineering started to manufacture semi-automatic and automatic dimensional control machines from 2013.

Our experience in dimensional control added to our electrotechnical knowledge allows us to manufacture effective machines.

We are using:

• Multi-axis solutions (for fully automatic machines)
• Rotation units (for roundness and runout)
• Simple cameras for Poka-Yoke
• Cameras for measurement
• LVDT sensors (miniature, mechanic and pneumatic)
• Precision lasers (non-contact dimensional measure)
• Laser sensors for thread presence

For traceability purpose, many options are available like:

• Good parts paint dot by spray on tanks or cartridge (not drying and not dropping)
• Database records with 1D code reader association
• Pneumatic impact head for simple letter or number

According to complexity, machine cycle times could vary from few seconds to half minute for a reliable 100% checking.
